Our Ancient bronze jewels production
The creation of those ancient jewels, done in Florence was a meticulous and highly skilled craft that flourished during the Renaissance.
Those skills are crafted by our friends & partners Pesci che Volano
Elena from Pesci, works in family-run workshops, began with the careful selection of high-quality materials, sourced from across Italy. The bronze is meticulously shaped and set using tools and techniques passed down through generations.
Enameling, a process of fusing powdered glass to metal under high heat, was also a popular method for adding vibrant color to pieces. Each jewel was often personalized with intricate engravings and embellishments that reflected the wealth and status of the owner.
The completion of a piece required a harmonious blend of artistry and technical precision, resulting in unique and exquisite jewels that were both wearable art and symbols of Florence’s rich cultural heritage.
